Hear Me Shimmer June 22, 2024

One part Motorhead, one part Zeke = Dum Dums. I had the pleasure of making a record with my pal Ryan Maxwell and his longtime pals from Young Sportsmen and Muzzle, Wes and Jeff. Ryan’s one of my favorite songwriters and yet this is nothing like I’ve heard him write before. All songs are under 2 minutes.

Recorded at Soundhouse, Seattle. Mixed by me at The Trap Shap, Edmonds, WA

Find it on Bandcamp and demand they press an LP!

A union bug for @high_priors seemed right. True to form, these are available in mini 2x1 inch stickers.
New HMS sticker design for my studio and band HQ in Seattle’s SODO District – Hear Me Shimmer. As of this month, the studio has been there for 13 of the building’s 108 years on First Avenue South.
Off to see @thesonicsboom...and a screening of the documentary “BOOM” @sonicsfilm2024. It’s a homecoming of sorts — by my calculation @mopopseattle is .29 miles from 170 Denny Way where they recorded “Here Are The Sonic
